- Co-ordinator of the Quality Control in Screening Cytology for the Regione Emilia Romagna.

- Author of 120 scientific articles and two books concerning surgical pathology, cytopathology, medical informatics and cancer prevention.
- Author of the Italian Edition of the Microglossary for Surgical Pathology of SNOMED International with A. Rossi Mori and P Nesti and the supervision of R. A. Coté.
